Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons Flaxseed meal
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups oats
1 cup ( or more ) choc chips/sultanas/almonds (your preference)
2 tablespoons Brewers Yeast
Method
Mix Flaxseed & water – set aside for 3 to 5 mins
Cream (beat) butter & suger, add eggs one at a time and mix well
Stir Flaxseed mixture & add with vanilla to butter mix
Beat until blended
Sift dry ingredients together – except oats and chips – add butter mix
Stir in oats and chips. Scoop or drop onto lined baking tray.
The dough is a little crumbly so it helps to use a scoop.
Bake 8 – 10 mins. Makes 6 dozen
